Kaitlyn Downing—part fairy, part mermaid, and part cat—lives in Florida with her husband and four cats, though her soul inhabits her pool or her garden when she’s not teaching English. Most recently, her work has appeared in Hemlock, 34 Orchard, Flash Phantom and Club Plum, among others.
